It’s more complicated, requires considerable planning to pull off big fields, and requires cooperation between multiple players to achieve high levels. I found it much more fulfilling than pogo.

Well, at least it keeps me entertained.

My New Years resolution was to stop playing, I was a bit obsessed. In November I drove an hour out of my way to find a Dratini nest, and only caught one after playing for 3 hours. That was the day I decided to stop playing, I didn’t stop.

I did play for an afternoon when gen 2 came out and remembered how much I hate gen 2.

Crazy thing for me is that I didnt have *that* big of a connection to Pokemon. I just have an unhealthy habit of collecting things. The main thing that keeps me playing is the fact that I walk to class everyday (about a mile each way), so it gives me something to do while I’m walking. I’m not sure if my enthusiasm will continue once I graduate in the spring...

That makes sense. Part of the reason I stop playing is that with the newer spown system where Pokémon pretty much only pop up near Poke’Stops, I can no longer catch anything at work lol. The nearest Poke’stop is 2 blocks away, and the next one after that is a half a mile away.

Before the new system there would be 3-4 Pokémon every 30 minutes or so, now there’s nothing, ever.

I’m 50 and play Pokémon Go every day. In fact, our whole family plays, and we are in competition to see who can catch the most. I don’t bother with the gyms, though. I was going to post my Dragonite earlier, but for some reason I can’t post pics on from my phone. I see now that others have better ones than mine.

I’m not that avid a player that I go out and seek specific Pokémon. But I have been known to make a side trip when somebody I don’t have pops up on my nearby list. Congrats on finishing.

Damn. I still have yet to see one anywhere except gyms. I go have a couple Dratinis named Martinis that I hope to someday evolve.

I still play casually once a day just to get the bonuses. Thankfully there’s a couple stops on my way to work at intersections so I spin them while stopped waiting for traffic. I get a few spawns at work, nothing crazy. My GPS doesn’t bounce me around much anymore like it used to (combination of new-er phone and updates to the game maybe) so I don’t click off the kms like I used to for hatching eggs. Meh.

My current mission is to get enough candy to turn this into a Gym tank, even though I barely visit gyms.

Interesting to see the new moves, when I was playing regularly only Dragon Claw, Hyperbeam and Dragon Pulse were available as special moves.
